And after a bold colour, we turn to a pastel one again: this time we focus on African Violet colour, aka Pantone 16-3520.
I am so in love with this kind of violet when it comes to make up, I must confess I don’t wear it much as clothes. And it’s pretty strange because I really like African Violet colour even in fashion and various apparel. Oh, wait. I just realized I have a scarf in African Violet colour which my grandmother gave to me a couple of years ago. What do you think about these suggestions?
For fashion, I thought about a preppy, college style look. So we have a pretty skater dress, proper for every occasion even formal. Then a preppy and feminine shirt from Ralph Lauren, to pair with Met skinny jeans: pastel jeans were a big trend this spring. A trend just like creepers shoes like these one, for a perfect London style a bit retro. To complete the look the Cambridge Satchel Company iconic bag.
For beauty and make up I obviously chose Clarisonic, I have mine in this colour (review), I love it! Then the top seller Opi nail polish in Parlez vous opi? I so, so loved the French collection! Can you still find it? Then we go with eyeshadows. I chose this gorgeous YSL palette in Lilac Sky, I think it could be perfect if you have green or hazel eyes. Then two creamy eyeshadows in a different formula: Benefit Creaseless cream eyeshadow and Clinique Chubby Stick Eyeshadow in Lavish Lilac, both perfect if you’re on the go!
